The Company
“SeaWay Forwarding & Logistics S.A” was established in 2007, to offer Services in the Supply chain of its Greek and foreign customers.
SeaWay is the only Greek company that offers the full range of Services including the Fiscal Representation and the custom operation, with its own personnel and structure.
The company operates 2 warehouses of over 10.000 square meters of space in the 2 industrial areas of Thessaloniki (Kalochori and Sindos), maintain an office inside the Container Terminal of Thessaloniki port and also has an office in the Border station of Greece towards the Western Bakan region.
Our experience in combination with the Tailor made solutions we offer to our customers ,give to them the opportunity to exploit in maximum the opportunities that the Geographical position of Thessaloniki can offer.
Our company has been certified as AEO.
Customs Clearance Services
Seaway provides a wide variety of customs clearance services such as:
SeaWay logistics facilities are registrated as “bonded warehouse”, where Cargoes can be stored as”in-bonded status”, including High-Duty classification commodities, such as alcohol products and cigarettes.
Apart from the main offices and the logistics facilities, our company operates office at Evzoni border as spedition office.
Logistics
In our state of the art logistics facilities Seaway offers integrated supply chain management services, such as:
- Warehousing in pallet racks or pallet stacking
- Inventory management using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Real time inventory monitoring through secured intranet
- Order management according to FIFO and FEFO policies
- Cross docking activities
- Transportation and Distribution to customer’s door
- Palletizing and cargo unification
- Repackaging of products ( e . g . adding promotional stuff such as gifts to main product package)
- Quality control and sampling
The warehouses are monitored on a 24-hour basis by a closed-circuit security system, allowing customers to monitor the spaces and activities from their computers.
The company's facilities
Cargoes can be stored in the warehouse as “in-bonded status”, including High-Duty classification commodities, such as alcohol products and cigarettes. This creates competitive advantage to your company in its importing activities, as:
- It is not necessary to use containers for storing cargo, paying high fees to the port and to the owner of the container
- It is feasible the partial receiving of cargo, avoiding tax payment in total

SeaWay offers complete solutions for International Transports through its extensive network of correspondents all over the world.

Agencies
SeaWay undertakes ships agencies (for conventional and container ships) and integrated cargo handling and management within the Port of Thessaloniki.
Moreover, our company manages loading and unloading activities from/to conventional trucks and containers.
SeaWay operates customs clearance and ships agency office at the Containers Terminal of the Port of Thessaloniki.
Fiscal Representation
SeaWay can also offer Fiscal Representation services to the customers. This service give the opportunity to a foreign customer, no matter where he is established, to sell his products in Greece or to the other European Union countries on DDP Terms.
Our specialized team of personnel handles the issues of VAT and Import duties payments for the customer and performs all the necessary registrations to the Greek Fiscal Services.
This service is a real handy tool in the hands of the customer since there is no need for permanent establishment of his company in Greece.
